Virtual Reality at the Point of Sale
The Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH launches the first Virtual Reality based point of sale Concept for HTC Vive in their flagship stores in Ingolstadt and Berlin. After putting on the provided HTC Vive, store visitors receive the unique opportunity to virtually configure their Kiveda dream kitchen. Users can select amongst various kitchen models, which can then be modified according to preferences in color, materials and electronic devices. Based on the usage of the PoS Concept, surrounding spectators can have a glance into the virtual world through the integrated 4K Displays. The HTC Vive offers hereby the opportunity to move freely within a defined space and real-life movements are completely mirrored to the virtual world. The fascinating photorealism of the kitchen completes the impressive shopping experience.
Innoactive introduces the PoS Concept for the HTC Vive. The concept is available in two different forms – a stationary installation for interactive VR visualizations in the market and a modular system for trade show booths. The PoS Concept offers the opportunity to present physical products from the retail-, automotive- and real estate sector. VR experience can be adapted to individual customer preferences and requirements. Possibilities are endless.
